- Jonne is the singer of the band.

- Besides Jay Jonne is the founder of the band Negative and so he´s one of the first members of the band in the year 1997.

- Bevore he started his music-career Jonne had worked at a kindergarten.

- Music has a big meaning to Jonne. He says to him it is the freedom to express himself.

- Jonne´s brothers also work at the branch of music. His younger brother Ville is the singer of the Finnish band Flinch (who sing Finnish lyrics). And Jonne´s older brother Tommi is the manager of both Negative and Flinch.

- Jonne´s wish to become a musician began when he watched a gig of Guns´n´Roses on TV for the first time at the age of 12. Since then it has been his dream to become such a great singer like his idol Axl Rose.

- Almost all lyrics of Negative are written by Jonne. They´re very private and like an autobiography to him. He says it would be like kind of writing a diary, because he overcomes his personal experiences and adventures in his lyrics.

- Bassist Antti wears also the picture with notes of "Lost soul" at his left upper arm, which Jonne got as a tattoo at his right forearm.

- Jonne loves to stay and perform on stage. Though Jonne seems to be such a shy guy, on stage he´s really powerful and shows a completely other side of himself. Everybody who has ever seen Negative live will agree with this. Jone once said that it would be like sex to be on stage and that he wouls be able to free all energy there. Admittedly at the beginning of his career the delicate singer always had to fight against his nausea he had because of his nervousness. But today he used to know how to handle this.
